The Plains Community League (TPCL) has long been a cornerstone of life in The Plains, Virginia, and its summer camp program is a highlight for local families. Each summer, children from The Plains and surrounding areas come together for a unique blend of fun, learning, and community-building.

TPCL’s Summer Camp offers a variety of activities that cater to all interests—whether it's outdoor adventures, sports, or arts and crafts. Campers are guided by a passionate team of staff and volunteers who create a safe, supportive environment where kids can explore new skills and make lasting friendships. The camp also features field trips aimed to build relationships between campers, local businesses and community resources. Many children return year after year, with some eventually becoming staff, further strengthening the bonds within the community.
