A Heartfelt Thank You: How YIP Opened My Eyes to Community Potential

I just wanted to express my gratitude to you both for making the YIP class of 2024 possible. I enjoyed learning about nonprofit organizations, exploring their role within the community, and developing an understanding of the application process and associated documents. The program made my world bigger, it gave me new things to consider when evaluating needs and outcomes in the community and it was fun to make new friends. I know I am not the most talkative, but rest assured I truly enjoyed the opportunity and am excited about the future.

Thank you for your creativity and leadership, as well as your investment of time, resources, and energy. You have made an extraordinary impact on my life and the lives of so many others with this program. I have always thought growing up in a small time meant limited possibilities, but you have shown me that communities have enormous potential.

Sincerely,

Finnliegh
