NPCF Scholarships Update

This year, we offered 43 different scholarship opportunities of which 64 awards were made for a total of $112,100 in first year, first time awards. We will be renewing scholarships for 44 students. $103,000 in renewable scholarships will also be disbursed this year.

Our students are traveling far and wide for college in the Fall going as far away as Utah and Maine with most remaining right here in Virginia colleges. Many students are attending our fine local options of Germanna, Laurel Ridge, and NVCC in Manassas.

Our scholarship recipients are studying music, earth sciences, computer sciences, nursing, biology, pre-med, pre-dental, education, business, agriculture, engineering and so many more fields of interest. Some students know exactly what their aim for a college education will be and some will be taking advantage of all college has to offer to determine their career course. As the historian Daniel Boorstin said "Education is learning what you didn't even know you didn't know."
