Lynne Goldsborough Yowell Scholarship

Lynne Yowell was a gifted artist, majoring in art at VCU, designing billboards and T-shirts in Virginia Beach, and then teaming up with the well-known tattoo artist JD Crowe to create Official Tattoo Brand Flash. She and husband Carty Yowell, who survives her, were married for 38 years, enjoying their life together in Etlan at the foot of Old Rag Mountain. Carty, a former board member and advocate for NPCF, felt the scholarship was a perfect way to honor her memory. The Lynne Goldsborough Yowell Scholarship is open to Madison and Culpeper County students pursuing a career in the arts.
