Give Local Piedmont 2025: A Call to Action for Businesses to Support Local Nonprofits

The Northern Piedmont Community Foundation (NPCF) invites local businesses to be a part of Give Local Piedmont 2025, the region’s largest 24-hour online giving event, dedicated to supporting over 225 local nonprofits. This annual event has raised more than $1 million annually in recent years, demonstrating the collective power of philanthropy.

While individual donors play a crucial role, businesses have the unique ability to amplify this impact even further. NPCF is seeking business sponsorships and participation through business giving pages to elevate this initiative, foster stronger communities, and drive philanthropic giving in the region.

Why Businesses Should Get Involved

Businesses are at the heart of thriving communities, and their participation in Give Local Piedmont helps ensure its continued success. By engaging in this year’s event, businesses can:

  • Demonstrate Corporate Social Responsibility – Show your employees, customers, and the community that you are committed to giving back and strengthening the nonprofit sector.

  • Engage Employees and Customers – Encourage participation through a business giving page, where your team can come together to support causes they care about.

  • Enhance Brand Visibility – Sponsors receive recognition in event marketing, on the Give Local Piedmont website, and in social media posts, helping to build goodwill and attract new customers.

  • Match Donations – Many businesses opt to match employee or customer donations, doubling the impact of their contributions and inspiring more giving.

A Powerful Opportunity for Collective Impact

Since its inception, Give Local Piedmont has helped fund initiatives in education, health, the arts, environment, and more. It is an incredible fundraising opportunity for nonprofits and a chance for businesses to play a direct role in improving the quality of life in our region.

“When businesses get involved in Give Local Piedmont, they become key players in shaping the future of our community,” said Jim LaGraffe, Executive Director of NPCF. “By sponsoring, setting up a business giving page, or launching a match challenge, companies can make a real difference in the lives of thousands while strengthening their ties to the communities they serve.”

How to Get Involved

Businesses can sign up to participate in Give Local Piedmont by becoming sponsors or creating business giving pages. Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, offering visibility and community impact.
