Watch Grant Funding In Action

Through the Richard Lykes Rappahannock Community Fund the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation awarded the Piedmont Environmental Council a grant award to support their Kestrel Box Program.

The objective of the Kestrel Box Program was to teach Rappahannock County High School students how to build bird boxes for Kestrels, the smallest falcon in North America whose numbers are rapidly dwindling.
