Give Local Piedmont
Give Local Piedmont (GLP) is the community's one-day, online giving event to inspire people to give generously to the nonprofit organizations that are making our region stronger. It's our day to come together as one! Give Local is held on the second Tuesday of every May at www.givelocalpiedmont.org.
Every dollar donated between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. is increased with additional "bonus" dollars ($100,000!) generously provided by the PATH Foundation and prize dollars graciously donated from our local businesses and Northern Piedmont fund holders.
Built on successful models from other cities, Give Local Piedmont raises money for the community, brings new donors and awareness to local nonprofits, and helps make our region a more vibrant place to live.
Give Local 2023 Results
Give Local Piedmont 2023 was our fourth year in a row breaking the $1 Million mark! Our communities have now raised over $9,100,000 for local nonprofits since our first Give Local Piedmont in 2014.
Our Community Sponsors
Our sponsors are a key ingredient to Give Local Piedmont’s success. Sponsor contributions allow us to offer additional prizes to all our participating nonprofits, which makes the day even more impactful for them.
Our partner sponsor, The Path Foundation, generously provided a $100,000 bonus that every nonprofit receives a portion of based on their donation totals. Path also funds the Youth Giving program of Give Local, where area students are provided with funds they can donate to the participating nonprofit(s) of their choosing.
