$10,000 Youth in Philanthropy Grant Opportunity Seeks Applications

Warrenton, Virginia — The Northern Piedmont Community Foundation is pleased to announce that our Youth in Philanthropy grant application is now open. All designated 501c3 organizations located within the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation’s geographic service region, that includes Fauquier, Culpeper, Madison, Rappahannock, and that provide youth services, are encouraged to apply. “Youth” is defined as any school-aged person up to and including undergraduate students. Strong grant proposals will incorporate projects that include youth in the development of the program, involve youth in the execution of the program, and/or provide youth services. YIP Grant Award Timeline

June 2, 2023: Online grant application opens.
July 20, 2023: Completed online application with all necessary information due.
August 8, 2023: Final two candidates will be notified by August 19th, 5pm.

September 5 – October 3: YIP students review grant applications and make site visits with the two final candidates.

October 27, 2023: YIP presents their decision to the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors for final approval.
