NPCF Announces Retirement of Executive Director Jane Bowling-Wilson and Seeks New Leadership

The Northern Piedmont Community Foundation (NPCF) announces the retirement of its Executive Director, Jane Bowling-Wilson, who has served the organization with dedication. Under her leadership, NPCF has advanced its mission to improve the quality of life in our community through philanthropy, collaboration, and support for local nonprofits.

"We are deeply grateful for Jane's visionary leadership,” said Eugene Triplett, Chair of the NPCF Board of Directors. “Jane has been not only a great leader but also a personal friend and advisor to me, and we wish her the very best in her future endeavors."

In response to this transition at the end of the year, the NPCF Board of Directors has formed a Succession Committee to oversee the search for a new Executive Director. This committee, composed of board members and community leaders, is focused on finding a successor who embodies NPCF's values and is ready to lead the organization into its next phase.

Applications for the Executive Director position are being accepted through August 30, 2024. This is an opportunity for an experienced leader to build on the strong foundation established by Jane Bowling-Wilson and to further NPCF's mission in the Northern Piedmont region.

"We are committed to finding a leader who will continue to drive our mission forward and foster the relationships that Jane has so skillfully cultivated," added Mr. Triplett. "We look forward to welcoming a new Executive Director who will carry on the vital work of NPCF.”

Prospective candidates with a deep commitment to community service, a strong understanding of local needs, and a proven track record in leadership are encouraged to apply. Details regarding the position and application process can be found below:
