Celebrating 25 Years of Growth

The Northern Piedmont Community Foundation (NPCF) celebrated its 25th anniversary on November 20th at Old House Vineyards, with Executive Director Jane Bowling-Wilson delivering a heartfelt speech acknowledging the collective contributions that have shaped NPCF’s success. She paid tribute to the visionary leadership of the founding Board and staff, whose efforts laid a solid foundation for the foundation’s continued impact.

Jane emphasized the crucial role of Board members, fundholders, and staff in NPCF’s growth. Board members have guided the foundation with strategic leadership, ensuring its sustainability, while fundholders have supported both immediate and long-term community needs through endowment funds. NPCF’s dedicated staff have worked tirelessly to manage grants, support nonprofits, and build the relationships that strengthen the region. Together, these efforts have positioned NPCF as a trusted resource for philanthropy.

The evening also marked the introduction of Jim LaGraffe as the incoming Executive Director, ready to continue building on NPCF’s legacy of empowering local organizations and addressing the pressing needs of the Northern Piedmont community.
