Dart and McCarthy Join NPCF Board of Directors Warrenton, Virginia – The Board of Directors of the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation (NPCF) welcomes Robert C. Dart, M.D. and John W. McCarthy, III to the Board each for three year terms.
Dr. Dart, of Warrenton, Virginia, will be retiring from 26 years of practice with Blue Ridge Orthopaedic Associates this summer. He is a panel physician for the newly established Fauquier Hospital Wound Healing Center, an active member of St. James’ Episcopal Church and Secretary/Treasurer of the International Academy of Preventative Medicine. He is former Chairman of the Fauquier Hospital Department of Surgery, former President of the Fauquier Hospital Medical Staff and former member of the Fauquier Hospital Board of Directors.
Mr. McCarthy serves as Rappahannock County Administrator and a lecturer in the Department of Geography at Mary Washington College. He is Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Fauquier Hospital and Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Fauquier Health System. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Rappahannock County Public Library, the Board of Directors of Child Care and Learning Center, and was named the Rappahannock News’ “Citizen of the Year-2000.”
The NPCF Board looks forward to working with these new members to further the mission of the community foundation.
